What a fantastic day I had shooting Arwel and Llinos's wedding last year. I always watch the weather the night before any wedding and also in the morning, handy to know if you need a plan B. So it was no surprise that it was pouring down when I turned up at the house where the girls were getting ready. Nobody cared about the rain, which was great, everyone was in a fantastic mood, plenty of smiles and laughter all round as I got the prep shots done. Then I headed off to the chapel in Llanfair P.G. to meet up with the boys. By the time I got there the rain had calmed down to just a few spots, to everyones surprise and happiness, it held off for the rest of the day. After a wonderful ceremony, followed by a few group shots, I headed off with the newlyweds to Bangor pier for a nice walk and a few more photos of course. It was then back to the venue for drinks on the lawn and some more group shots before it was time for the wedding breakfast. I have shot a few weddings in the management centre in Bangor, I love the place. It has such a charm to it and is a great place to get photographs. So many little nooks and crannies where shots can be done. So after some very funny speeches, Llinos and Arwel headed off around the grounds for a few more photos, then headed back to start an evening of dancing and laughter. Please scroll down and check out the day as it unfolds. I hope you all enjoyed this small collection of shots from the day, feel free to leave a comment below.

Wow, Betty and Ed are so lovely, celebrating their wedding at Tros Yr Afon was so much fun. Another new venue for me but what a gorgeous place to have a wedding. This wedding had it all! Everything from a tipi marquee, an outdoor ceremony officiated by a friend, a trip to Penmon point for some photos, a paddle in the sea, as well as a ride back in a tractor and trailer. Betty looked absolutely stunning as her two brothers escorted her down the aisle. Ed was looking super dapper in his suit, I had been told he only ever wears shorts and I think given the chance he would have too. I could go on and on but why not see for yourself, here is a small collection of shots from the day, enjoy. I hope you enjoyed Betty and Ed's big day. Please feel free to leave them a lovely comment below.

What an amazing day at Dave and Fiona's wedding at Hilltop country house near Macclesfield. Such a great atmosphere with so many lovely people, I had such a fun day. Even though it was very cold, the sun shone pretty much all day, and there was snow for a bit in the evening too while everyone was sat down, great timing! Having driven for an hour and a half worrying about the forecast of snow by the BBC weather, I arrived to bright sunshine. There was no snow, just a beautiful country house all lit up in the morning sun. I headed to the girls room where Fiona and the girls were getting ready, there were smiles all round, no nerves were showing. I also caught up with Dave and the boys for a few shots before the guests started to arrive. It was then on to the main event. The possibility of an outdoor wedding was rethought as it was very cold, so the decision to have the ceremony in the marquee was made. The marquee was lovely, warm, light and perfect for the happy couple to get married in. After the ceremony it had warmed up enough to have drinks on the patio and some group shots. All this before going for a walk with Fiona and Dave around the grounds of this beautiful house. Shortly after it was time for everyone to sit down and enjoy the wedding breakfast followed by some entertaining speeches. As we still had plenty of light left, Fiona and Dave let their guests gamble and drink away casino style, whilst they took another little walk around some more of the grounds for a few photos. They then headed back in to start the evening of fun and laughter. What a lovely little adventure with awesome people at a great venue. Please scroll down and enjoy the day as it unfolds. I hope you enjoyed Dave and Fiona's big day. Please feel free to leave them a lovely comment below.

I met up with them at Portmeirion but the weather was not on our side, so we opted for the sand dunes of Aberffraw a week later. This meant they could also bring along Sam the dog, much to Ffions delight. Please enjoy a few photos from the shoot, I love the way Sam wanted to get in on the act, I am not sure who the shoot was actually for. If you think you might like something similar before your wedding then please get in touch.
Wow........ What a great time I had at Louise and Tom's wedding, such a wonderful day with beautiful people. The weather turned out nice too, dry and warm with plenty of sunshine. I started the day at the house with the girls, getting some prep shots, it was smiles all round with lots of laughter. Then I headed off to meet up with Tom and the boys at the church for a few shots before the guests arrived and it was time for the main event. The church in Llandegfan is so lovely, and even more so when you go inside. After a perfect service, it was back out into the sunshine, for a few group shots and of course some confetti throwing. It was then off to Menai Bridge for some shots along the Belgian Prom and under the bridge itself. Once we were done there, we headed off to Bangor University for the reception. I have shot plenty of weddings here, I love it every time, it has such character and the photo possibilities are just endless. We did a few more group shots before everyone sat down for food, which was followed by some funny and also very emotional speeches. After some fun shots with the wedding party, Louise and Tom headed off around the grounds and corridors of the University, for some more photos. A quick stop off in the library for some light reading, before heading back to dance and party the night away. Please enjoy Louise and Tom's story as the day unfolds. Well..........What a year it has been! I have had the pleasure of photographing so many amazing weddings, I have met so many gorgeous people and I have taken so many fantastic photos. All topped off by winning Best Wedding Photographer in North Wales at the Welsh National Wedding Awards in November. So here it is, the massive and I mean massive 2015 review. I found it so hard choosing which ones to put in and which to leave out, all of these are my personal favourites. They tell me and hopefully you why I love my job so much, I might have mentioned it once or twice. It's such an honour to capture moments that will never happen again. There are so many of my favourite shots in here, and it's all thanks to my wonderful Brides and Grooms who booked me. So grab yourself a cup of tea or coffee, get the biscuits out, sit down for a bit, relax, scroll your way down and enjoy the show. I hope you all enjoyed the photos, If you're planning your big day and you think my style fits in then please get in touch via the contact page.
Gwenno & Ian got married in the stunningly beautiful village of Portmeirion and what an amazing day it was. This was my second visit of the year to the village and it never fails as a backdrop for amazing wedding photography. The weather held out and everyone had a fantastic day. I started the day off with some preparation shots with the girls, such a good vibe with plenty of laughter. I knew it was going to be a fun day. After some shots with the boys, it was time to make my way to Portmeirion. North Wales is such a small place really and it was really nice to catch up with a few familiar faces at this wedding, a previous bride and groom, plus plenty of friends. I caught up with the boys quickly as they were finishing off getting ready and then waited for Gwenno to arrive. The Hercules hall is a splendid room to get married in, the light from the huge window illuminates everyone in such a nice way, Ian and Gwenno had such a lovely ceremony. After lots of confetti and a few family shots, it was off to the hotel for drinks on the lawn. We managed a few more group shots and a quick walk before it was time to sit down for the wedding breakfast followed by some very funny speeches. As the evening draws out and all the tourists have gone home the village gets really quiet. Perfect for exploring all the nooks and crannies of the village to get some really nice shots of just the couple. It was then time to party, Ian and Gwenno enjoyed a wonderful first dance before being joined on the floor by the guests. Such a fantastic day in the company of great people. Please enjoy this small collection of shots from the day. If you like the look of my photography and would like me to shoot your wedding then please get in touch via the contact page
What a lovely time we had on the beach and in the woods at Newborough. It is such a beautiful place to go for a walk and an even nicer backdrop for family photos. We walked through the woods and on to the amazingly beautiful Llanddwyn island, stopping here and there for a few group shots. The 2 children had a ball and couldn't stop playing. Please enjoy this small collection of shots from the shoot. If you like the look of these photos and would like to do a similar style shoot with your family then please get in touch. Sophie and Sam got married in the wonderful Tre Ysgawen hall and what a fabulous day it was. Right from the start when I met up with the girls when they were having hair and makeup done it was all smiles and laughter. Such a relaxed atmosphere and I just shot away as if I was invisible. A quick trip to see the boys and the same there, nice and relaxed and ready to go. I knew it was going to be a fun day and I was right. Sophie and Sam were getting married at Tre Ysgawen. It is such a lovely venue for a wedding, the beautiful house and the lovely gardens make such a great backdrop for photos. After a lovely if not short ceremony everyone went outside for some more photos before settling down for the wedding breakfast. After all the speeches were done we headed off for a little walk around the grounds to get some beautiful photos of Sophie and Sam before they headed back to start the evening party. The band was ready to go and Sophie and sam had a wonderful first dance before the dance floor was invaded and the real party got underway. Congratulations to Sophie and Sam, Please all enjoy this small collection of photos from the day. If you like the look of my work and would like me to photograph your wedding then please get in touch via the contact page.
Coming to Anglesey on holiday is so nice, especially when you get nice weather. And that's exactly what this family got. And while they were here they wanted some lovely family photos. They were staying at Henllys hall just outside of Beaumaris and wanted some photos there but also a few at Penmon. So we arranged to meet on the beach and the weather was glorious. We paddled, threw stones and ate ice cream. What's not to like about the beach? We then headed back to Henllys for some more fun and a few more shots. Please enjoy this small collection of shots from the shoot. What a lovely time with a lovely family. If you would like to do something similar then please get in touch.
