THE BIG 2017 FAVOURITE WEDDING PHOTO BLOG
Wedding photography isn't for everyone. There's the stress of getting shots that will only happen once, there is no asking if you can just do that again if you miss it. Finding people who have wandered off when you are running out of time and the venue is giving you grief about getting the food out on time is always a challenge. You really do need the patience of a saint. Then there is the hours and hours of editing and work after the wedding day, it's not just one day of work.
Having said all that, I just love doing them, I really do. Spending time with happy people all day and capturing once in a lifetime moments is so good. Anyone who has seen me working will have seen the enthusiasm I put in because it is genuine. I love my job and may have said it once or twice before.
2017 has been such a good year and every single wedding I shot was fantastic. I have met so many nice people and had so much fun.
I also just happened to pick up Best Wedding Photographer in North Wales again at the 2017 Welsh National Wedding Awards. A complete surprise but it was the icing on the cake so to speak.
Which brings me round to this blog. I have spent hours going through all the wedding and choosing my personal favourites from each wedding. I had to leave a lot out as you would be scrolling for days. They might not all be the big flashy bride and groom portraits, to me these are the shots that really make a wedding. The candid moments, the details, the shots when people were unaware. These are the shots that tell the story of the day.
So.....put your feet up, grab a drink, scroll down and enjoy.
