Esther & Tom
A Portmeirion wedding story
It doesn't get much more beautiful than Portmeirion in the Autumn. The whole village and gardens look amazing. The golden colours, the light and the whole vibe is just great.
So I was so happy when Esther and Tom booked me for their wedding in October of last year.
It was all go when I arrived at castell Deudraeth, Cassie M Bridal and crew were doing their thing with hair and make up. Esther and the girls were having a great time, which is brilliant for me, capturing all those fun moments.
Whilst they were getting in their dresses I popped downstairs to capture some photos with Tom who was finishing off getting ready outside on the patio, the early morning light was just beautiful and the boys were all on good form.
Once down in the village itself, I captured the lads arriving along with a few nervous moments before Esther arrived and was walked down the aisle by her father.
The light in the Hurculese hall is always amazing, Esther and Tom's beautiful and emotional ceremony was illuminated with Autumnul sun.
Have I mentioned how beautiful the Autumn colours are? And nothing beats wandering around the Chinese garden for a little while with the bride and groom capturing some lovely moments.
We then headed back up to the wonderful Castell Deaudraeth for the wedding breakfast. Finishing off some more fun group shots before the bride and groom sat down for the wedding breakfast.
It get's dark early in October but that was fine, once the speeches were done we headed back down into Portmeirion village for a few night time shots, the village is always lit up in the night and offers some amazing backdrops for photos.
Dancing, lets not forget about that. Esther is part of a dance group and it would not be fitting if there wasn't some sort of choreographed routine planned. So after the wonderful first dance, Esther and gang took over the floor to boogie the night away.
Please scroll down and enjoy the story as it unfolds.
