A Henblas wedding story
Weddings don't get much better and Laura & Rhys's big day at Henblas country park didn't disappoint.
The story started with a fantastic pre wedding shoot on the cliffs of Rhoscolyn back in 2021, it was such a fun shoot and I was looking forward to photographing the wedding.
Fast forward pretty much exactly a year and it's wedding day. woop woop.
This was my first wedding at Henblas and it's such a fantastic venue, a converted 19th century farm , complete with fields, beautiful views over the Snowdoniand mountains and even has a wooded glade, all with the added twist of new, modern dedicated interior rooms. It really is a stunning venue.
I started the day photographing Laura and the girls getting ready in the bridal preparation room, great fun, lots of laughs and a few familiar faces.
I met up with Rhys shortly to capture himself arriving the the rest of the boys. He was on good form and showed no sign of any nerves.
The ceremomy took place overlooking the mountains of snowdonia, the room is so light and looked amazing all dressed up. Complete with trees and a string quartet, it really made the room look special.
Laura & Rhys couldn't stop smiling through the whole ceremony.
It was outside then for drinks and photos, the courtyard is a great space and perfect for capturing candid moments. After a few group shots and the amazing confetti walk, Laura & Rhys headed offf around the grounds for some more photos before sitting down for food.
Speeches never dissapoint and is probably my favourite part of the day, the chance to catch all the emotion and laughter in one go is brilliant.
The wedding party then got together for some fun photos before a visit to the wooded glade for a few more photos.
Time flies on a wedding day, it was time for the evening celebrations. Started off by a wonderful first dance, Laura & Rhys were joined on the floor by family and frinds to dance the night away. The live band kept it packed and gave me more opportunity to capture the fun and laughter.
What a day with amazing people at a brilliant venue.
