Congratulations to Ann and Alan who were married in the lovely church of Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs then went on to the Bulls Head Inn in Beaumaris for the reception. I first met up with Ann & Alan after they had found me on the internet and looked through my website. We met up at the Bull in Beaumaris and had a lovely chat about what they would like from their special day, they loved the relaxed nature of the photographs and booked me there and then. It was only going to be a small affair with only close family and friends attending. So come the day I headed into Beaumaris to meet up with Ann who was having her hair done with some of the other girls at 'A Cut Above' salon in town. Everyone was in a great mood and all the grandchildren were very excited. After a few shots it was off to see Alan who was getting ready in the Bull Inn, and then was meeting up for a pre wedding drink in the bar. A short hop away was the Townhouse where Ann was getting ready and after a couple more photos there, it was off to the main event. Ann was walked down the aisle by her son and had the biggest smile I had seen in a long time, most brides are nervous. A very long but entertaining service commenced. After some beautiful readings, a flute recital and lots of hymns Ann and Alan walked back down the aisle as Mr and Mrs Healey. It was then off to the Bulls head Inn for some drinks and a few group shots. A quick walk was taken around Beaumaris in the sunshine to get some lovely shots of the happy couple and even a ride on the carousel was in order. It was time for food and after everyone was full it was time for the speeches, Alans son, Austin who was best man stole the show with a hilarious rhyming speech about the day and then read out some messages from the guests which added to the fun as some were totally illegible. After cutting a wonderful cheese cake the evenings entertainment was kicked off with a wonderful first dance after which plenty of people joined in to dance the night away. Once again, congratulations to Ann and Alan, wishing you both all the best for the future. Congratulations to Aaron & Cheri who were married in the beautiful church of St. Mary And St. Nicholas in Beaumaris and then went on to the Bulkeley hotel for the reception. Arriving in Beaumaris under blue skies and bright sunshine could only lift spirits and for a time the weather held out. After a beautiful and entertaining ceremony we headed to the pier to take some group photo's but in true Welsh weather style the blue skies were replaced by very dark clouds and the heavens opened with a mix of hail and rain and a cold cold wind. A quick retreat to the hotel to take shelter was made and 10 minutes later the sun was shining again(typical). Aaron & Cheri opted for a walk along the side of the Menai straits and we revisited the pier for some more photos. After some very funny speeches the evening was kicked off with a superb first dance and some excellent songs from the band. Please enjoy a small selection of photos from the day. Once again, congratulations to Aaron & Cheri, wishing you all the best for the future. As always, thanks to geraint and to see more photo's from this wedding please click here to go to Panarama's blog.
