This is a wedding from last year that I never got round to blogging so here is Chris and Diane's big day. They got married in the lovely church of Llanbeblig in Caernarfon and then went on to the Celtic Royal hotel for the reception. Diane and the girls were having hair done in Elaine's hair and beauty in Llanrug so I popped over to see them, they were all having a good time so I just shot away. A quick trip to see the boys then back to the house to get some finishing shots of Diane getting ready. It was then over to the church for a lovely ceremony. These 2 are so in love it's great. The way they look at each other is beautiful. After the ceremony we headed to Caernarfon castle for some shots of the newlyweds, We actually went inside which was a first for me shooting a couple in a castle, and what a beautiful place to get photos, so many lovely backdrops. It was then off to the Celtic Royal Hotel for some group shots and the wedding breakfast. After some brilliant and funny speeches, we headed off across the road to the Dock with the wedding party for a few more shots. It was then back to dance the night away. such a fun day with cool people in a couple of new locations for me. please enjoy the day as it unfolds. I hope you all like this collection of photos from the day. If you liked what I did and would like to vote then please click on the banner below for the Welsh national wedding awards.

Congratulations to Lisa and Llyr who were married in Glanrhyd chapel in Dinas and then went on to Llandwrog for a marquee reception. Well what can I say, despite dodging the rain all day it turned out to be a wonderful wedding. I arrived at Lisa's parents house in Llandwrog for a few prep shots of the girls, I couldn't help but notice the giant marquee in the field next door. At least people would be able to shelter from the rain that was forecast all day. Oh and avoid the thunder and lightning storms too. Everyone in the house was in a great mood and lots of laughter and fun was being had. I quickly got to work and got plenty of shots of everything that was going on, after a while I headed of to see the boys up in Llanllyfni who were in just as good a mood as everyone else. A few shots, a quick dram of whisky (not me) and then it was back to the girls for a little bit before I headed of to Glanrhyd chapel for the second time this year. Fortunately the rain was holding off just enough for now and the chapel started to fill quickly before Lisa arrived A beautiful and emotional service was capped of with some amazing singing from Alys, and a very willing minister allowed time for a quick selfie. After a few family shots it was off to the reception where time was spent dodging the showers but everyone was in party mode and the drinks, laughter and fun started flowing. After food and a lot of speeches a quick break in the weather allowed us to get up to Glynllifon for some lovely intimate shots of Lisa & Llyr, where we went for a nice little walk around the lovely grounds of the stunning old house. It was then back to the marquee to carry on with the party, After a wonderful first dance everyone joined in on the dance floor and the band carried on playing late into the night. Congratulations once again to Lisa & Llyr, wishing you both the best for the future. I hope you all enjoyed this small collection of photos from the day, A full set of photos will be available shortly in the CLIENT AREA.
