I do love family lifestyle shoots, they are so much fun to photograph. The kids always have a great time and their parents too. This one was at Newborough, and even the dog came along too. We went for a nice walk through the woods, stopped off for a little while to take some photos, then we headed to the beach for a few more shots. The two children just loved messing around in the sand.

What a lovely time we had on the beach and in the woods at Newborough. It is such a beautiful place to go for a walk and an even nicer backdrop for family photos. We walked through the woods and on to the amazingly beautiful Llanddwyn island, stopping here and there for a few group shots. The 2 children had a ball and couldn't stop playing. Please enjoy this small collection of shots from the shoot. If you like the look of these photos and would like to do a similar style shoot with your family then please get in touch. Coming to Anglesey on holiday is so nice, especially when you get nice weather. And that's exactly what this family got. And while they were here they wanted some lovely family photos. They were staying at Henllys hall just outside of Beaumaris and wanted some photos there but also a few at Penmon. So we arranged to meet on the beach and the weather was glorious. We paddled, threw stones and ate ice cream. What's not to like about the beach? We then headed back to Henllys for some more fun and a few more shots. Please enjoy this small collection of shots from the shoot. What a lovely time with a lovely family. If you would like to do something similar then please get in touch.
I was asked by the Godbers to take some photos of the family shortly after the arrival of their baby daughter. They wanted to capture her while she was still small but also get some shots of them all together and also their little boy.
Here is a small selection of photographs from the shoot. John & Kate had been gifted a photo shoot with me from a friend, we had tried to get it done a few times but bad weather had gotten in the way a number of times. So finally, last Autumn I did a lovely little family shoot over in Loggerheads country park, It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the leaves were falling and it wasn't too cold.
Loggerheads park is a lovely place to go. It lies in a wooded valley with the river Alyn running through it. We decided to go for a little walk along by the river to start, there were plenty of things to keep little Willow entertained, throwing sticks in the river, playing in the leaves and finding her own little cave. She wanted to splash in puddles mainly though, and why not when you have the cutest little pink spotted wellies. After a lovely walk by the river we ended up back at the picnic area where I grabbed a few more shots of the family, by then little Willow was more interested in pictures of herself on the back of the camera. A lovely time capturing lovely moments. Here are a few shots from the session. I was asked to do a family portrait shoot in and around Conwy. We decided to go for a walk in Bodlondeb woods and then head on to the quay for a while before heading to the cob for some shots to end the session. The woods were perfect to get things started. Plenty of places to get natural backdrops and lots of things for the kids to do, climbing trees, hide and seek etc. After a while messing in the woods as I like to call it, we headed on to Conwy quay, Ice creams were in order and a perfect place to capture some candid shots. It was pretty busy on the quay but that was fine. I still managed a few portraits and full family shots. To finish up the session we ventured over the bridge on to the cob and took a few more shots. Having the castle in the background was great and also the view over the estuary was fantastic. What a lovely little session with a great family who all up for a laugh and enjoyed having their photos taken. They were a joy to photograph. Please take a look at this small collection of shots from the session. I hope you all enjoyed this collection of shots from the shoot? Family portrait shoots are great, especially when the weather is lovely and even better when you have previously photographed everyone. 3 months earlier I had the honour of photographing everyone at the wedding of Karina & Gareth.
This shoot was a present for Gareths mum and was meant to have been done long before the wedding, but one thing after another led to us only getting round to it after the wedding. We had decided on Holyhead's Breakwater country park as the location. There are plenty of nice backdrops there from the ponds to the old quarry workings. So we had a gentle stroll around the place and took some lovely photos. Here are just a few from the session. When I was asked to do a photo shoot for the Sidwell family I was honored. Laura contacted me saying it was her mothers 80th birthday and they wanted some images of all the grand children to give as a present. I was asked to come to Colemere in Shropshire which is not my normal area. being based in North Wales you sort of get to know the nice spots but a quick Google search and Colemere looked like an ideal place to do the shoot. Lots of woods, a lake and plenty of scenery to use as backdrops.
So on the day the weather was very bright and it was a bit windy but as soon as we got into the woods we were in perfect shelter so had a lovely walk around the lake. Stopping here and there we got plenty of lovely family shots and some great individual portraits too. A couple of hours quickly passed wandering through the woods and around the lake and everyone had a great time. We even got a chance to take in some of the local wildlife. So here is a small collection of photos from the day, please enjoy them. Having already photographed Sarah and Steve's engagement shoot and their wedding it was such an honor to be asked again to take some more photographs of them both. But this time with the two children, in a lifestyle family shoot outside somewhere.
After a couple of weeks of horibble weather we finally got a break and decided on heading to the lagoons on Llyn Padarn just outside of Llanberis. With great light and lots of places to shoot this was the perfect setting for some lovely family shots. And with plenty of things to do, the children were never going to get bored. So please enjoy this small collection of photos from the shoot and feel free to leave a comment at the bottom. |
