What an absolute stunner of a wedding this was, the weather was perfect, and the people were fantastic. You know it's going to be a fabulous day when there are cakes and sausage rolls being handed out to everyone outside the church, after the ceremony. The morning started with some preparation shots of Ffion and the girls as they got ready, everyone was in high spirits, the sun was shining and the forecast for the rest of the day was good. I then headed down to catch up with the boys for a few shots at the lovely church of St Gwynins in Dwygyfylchi where the happy couple were getting married. After the ceremony, once everything was official, everyone made their way back out into the sunshine to congratulate the happy couple, throw confetti, whilst indulging in welsh cakes and sausage rolls, oh yes! This was a first for me at a wedding but what a fantastic idea. It was then on to Tre Ysgawen hall for the reception, I have shot plenty of weddings here and it never fails to disappoint. There are so many good places to get photos. Following some very funny speeches, Ffion and Llyr headed out for a walk around the grounds, the sun was low in the sky and the light was just beautiful, perfect for some intimate shots. Once the sun had gone down it was time to party, the first dance was so good and Llyr busted out his signature crab move, awesome! What a fantastic day with amazing people. Scroll down to enjoy the day as it unfolds. I hope you all enjoyed this small collection of shots from the day, feel free to leave a comment below.

Sophie and Sam got married in the wonderful Tre Ysgawen hall and what a fabulous day it was. Right from the start when I met up with the girls when they were having hair and makeup done it was all smiles and laughter. Such a relaxed atmosphere and I just shot away as if I was invisible. A quick trip to see the boys and the same there, nice and relaxed and ready to go. I knew it was going to be a fun day and I was right. Sophie and Sam were getting married at Tre Ysgawen. It is such a lovely venue for a wedding, the beautiful house and the lovely gardens make such a great backdrop for photos. After a lovely if not short ceremony everyone went outside for some more photos before settling down for the wedding breakfast. After all the speeches were done we headed off for a little walk around the grounds to get some beautiful photos of Sophie and Sam before they headed back to start the evening party. The band was ready to go and Sophie and sam had a wonderful first dance before the dance floor was invaded and the real party got underway. Congratulations to Sophie and Sam, Please all enjoy this small collection of photos from the day. Congratulation to Louise and Dylan who were married in the lovely Moriah chapel in Gwalchmai on Anglesey and then went on to Tre Ysgawen country house for the reception. It was a lovely morning, the sun was shining and the sky was blue as I headed to meet up with Louise and co. at a salon in Llangefni. They were having their hair done there and then off to her family home to finish of the preparations with make up and getting into the dress. After a few shots in the salon I left the girls to it and went to check on the lads and get a few photos of them getting ready, They were a bit nervous but the banter was still flowing. I then headed back to the girls to see the tranformation, It's so nice to be a part of the day and capture it from start to finish. It was then off to the chapel to see the boys again, there were plenty of smiles as people turned up in the sunshine and once everyone was in we awaited the bride. A lovely ceremony with plenty of emotion and laughter was had, once the register had been signed it was out into the sunshine and after a few family photos it was off to Tre Ysgawen for the wedding reception. Tre Ysgawen is so nice outside when the sun shines and plenty of people were taking advantage of the sun and relaxing with a drink, Before everyone sat down there was time for a few more group shots. After the wedding breakfast and some great speeches which once again had people crying, Its great to see such emotion on a special day we head off outside to get some shots of the happy couple. A lovely little walk around the grounds of the house was only momentarily interupted by a spot of rain, but this didn't last long. It was then back in to party. Louise and Dylan danced and then people quickly joined them on the dancefloor to party the night away. Once again, a huge congratulations to Louise and Dylan. Wishing you both the best for the future.
I hope you all enjoyed this small collection of shots from the day, A full set of images can be seen in the CLIENT AREA. Karina & Gareth got married in the wonderful Tre Ysgawen hall and what a lovely day it was. I have shot at Tre Ysgawen before but only as a reception venue and not a whole wedding. So it was nice to actually photograph the wedding ceremony here this time. And to add to it, the weatherman said it was going to be nice so that was a bonus. I met up with Karina in one of the lovely rooms where she and her bridesmaid were getting ready, they were both in a fantastic mood and no nerves were showing. As the boys arrived I grabbed a few shots with them, also captured some of the guests as they arrived, I headed back to karina for a while to capture her in her dress before she made the elegant walk down the stairs to meet Gareth. The ceremony was short but lovely and after exchanging the rings and signing the register, Karina and Gareth walked back down the aisle and out into the sunshine as Mr & Mrs Hughes. Quickly followed by all the other guests to congratulate them. After doing a few group shots I managed to get a little bit of time to photograph Karina and Gareth on their own before they headed in for the wedding breakfast. After cutting the cake and some speeches it was back outside to enjoy the last of the sunshine where we had a little bit of fun getting some more shots before heading off to the walled garden for a few more shots of just the happy couple. It was then time to dance and Karina & Gareth kicked the evening off with a beautiful first dance before other guests joined in to dance the night away. Congratulations to Karina and Gareth, What a lovely day it was. I hope you all liked this small collection of photos from the day, A full set of photos can be found in the CLIENT AREA.

Congratulations to Sarah and Steve who were married in Capel Y Rhos chapel in Llanrug and then went on to Treysgawen hall for the reception. The day started with a little trip up into the hills to get a few shots of Sarah and the girls getting ready, everyone was in good spirits even though we had a slight shower of rain. The forecast was good though so this didn't worry anyone. After a few shots it was off to meet the boys in Llanrug. A beautiful ceremony was had in the Tardis like chapel and after that we headed to Llyn Padarn for a few lakeside photographs before heading off to Treysgawen hall on Anglesey for the reception. Lots of fun was being had and the kids were having a ball, after a few group shots everyone headed in to eat giving me the chance to have a wander around the lovely old house. It was then on to the speeches, lots of laughter and a few tears of joy led to a few last minute group shots and then Sarah and Steve then headed off around the grounds for a few more photographs before the evening dancing was kicked off. Please enjoy this small collection of the more informal shots from the day. Once again, congratulations to Sarah and Steve, wishing you both all the best for the future. A full collection of photographs with be available in the CLIENT AREA shortly.
