It was pretty quiet in the village of Betws Y Coed when I met up with Iona and Mark for a pre wedding shoot. They are getting married in a couple of weeks in the wonderfully colourful village of Portmeirion and wanted to have a bit of time in front of the camera to get used to it. So we opted for a nice little walk through the woods and down by the river. Stopping off now and again for some shots, we made it to the Miners bridge before heading back to Betws. What a fantastic time, they were both so comfortable in front of the camera. I can't wait to photograph the wedding.

Ffion and Alec are getting married in a couple of weeks, in the beautiful village of Portmeirion and wanted to do a pre wedding shoot to get used to the camera. I met up with them at Portmeirion but the weather was not on our side, so we opted for the sand dunes of Aberffraw a week later. This meant they could also bring along Sam the dog, much to Ffions delight. Please enjoy a few photos from the shoot, I love the way Sam wanted to get in on the act, I am not sure who the shoot was actually for. If you think you might like something similar before your wedding then please get in touch.
Sioned and Guto are getting married very soon and decided to have a pre wedding shoot before their big day so they could get used to the camera, we chatted about various places to go, to be fair, North Wales has so many but decided on a little walk up to the Aber Falls.
The beautiful waterfall sits at the top of a wooded valley, a couple of miles above the small village of Abergwyngregin and is the perfect area for a shoot. So off we went, instantly they were both very at ease infront of the camera and the couple of hours walking through the countryside flew by. We stopped here and there and even had a chat with some ponies. By the time we had gotten down I was a little bit sad to have to leave this amazing place. I shall definitely be heading back soon, after all, it is only round the corner. I am now looking forward to photographing Sioned and Guto on their wedding day. I hope you enjoy this small collection of photos. I met Vicky and Steve a while back when they booked me for their wedding. Time is flying and it's not long till that big day happens. In the mean time, they decided on having a pre wedding shoot. They initially wanted to have them in Rhos on sea on the prom and have the sea in the background but unfortunately the tide was way too far out. So we opted for Llandudno instead.
We headed for the beach under the little Orme to start with, the light was fantastic, the sun was on its way down and had a lovely soft glow to it. After a short while on the beach we headed of for a nice walk through the alpine garden in Happy Valley before a short walk along Llandudno pier. Vicky and Steve were naturals in front of the camera and didn't need much coaching at all. As the sun was going down quickly, we had a quick trip around the Marine Drive on the Great Orme stopping off at the top to take in the setting sun and capture a few more photos. I am really looking forward to photographing the wedding now so keep an eye on the blog for that. FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
Ffion and Craig booked me a while ago to capture their wedding, but mentioned they also wanted a pre wedding shoot. Primarily designed to let the couple get used to the camera and give them a taste of how I work but also a chance to capture some fantastic photos of the couple in a beautiful location. So Its getting close to the wedding now and Ffion & Craig decided to have the shoot at Newborough beach. If you havn't been there before you are really missing out, you have a huge forest to play around in and also a stunning beach with the beautiful Llanddwyn Island a short walk away. As the tide was out we opted for a walk along the beach, the sun was shining and it was a lovely warm evening. we headed off down the beach and on to Llanddwyn Island, stopping off now and again to get a few shots. people always say the are nervous in front of the camera but Ffion & Craig were naturals right from the start and we had a great walk to the island and back again capturing some stunning photos. I can't wait to photograph the wedding now so keep an eye out on here for it. I first met Anna & Dylan when they chose me to do their wedding photography, they also said they would like to have a pre wedding shoot so they could get used to the camera. So we arranged an evening at Cemlyn bay, A National Trust nature reserve on the beach. It was quite late when we met up but still enough light to get plenty of shots. We spent a couple of hours walking around the area, Despite initially saying they were a bit nervous, Anna and Dylan were pretty comfortable in front of the camera right from the start and it shows in the pictures. So here they are, a small selection of photos from the evening. I hope you all enjoyed these, if you feel like leaving a comment for Anna & Dylan then please do below.
Can't wait to photograph their wedding now. As I am photographing Amanda & Andy's wedding in April, they decided they wanted to have a pre wedding photo shoot so they could get used to the camera and also get an idea how I will go about shooting their wedding on the big day.
They are getting married on Anglesey and they thought somewhere local for the pre shoot would be good but couldn't get the time to travel up from Birmingham where they live so I opted to travel down there and we would do the shoot in the lovely Cannon Hill Park, a stones throw from their home. As luck would have it, the weather was spot on so we went for a nice little stroll around the park, stopping off here and there. Here is a small selection from the shoot. Well.......What can I say? Jade and Joe are the loveliest couple you could ever meet, they are so in love it's great. They got engaged in Paris, the city of love and have brought plenty of it back with them. I couldn't get them to stop kissing :)
They are getting married very soon and wanted a pre wedding shoot to get used to the camera and how I work. To be fair they are both very natural together and pretty much from the off they were comfortable in front of the lens, which is great. We had decided to meet up in Newborough and go for a little walk in the woods and on the beach, It is such a lovely place to take photos and we had the weather on our side, warm and sunny. We walked, we laughed, ran down dunes, skimmed stones and I got my feet wet. What a fantastic time. So here are a few photos from the fun couple of hours. Really can't wait to shoot their wedding now. Sarah and Steve booked me for their wedding last year and always had the idea of an engagement shoot. Mainly so they could get used to being in front of the camera and also to get an idea of how I work but also to get some beautiful photos of them both in a stunning setting. So we met up at Glynllifon and went for a little stroll around the grounds of the beautiful old mansion. There are so many places to take photos here, everything from wooded paths to an amazing slate amphitheatre, a beautiful old fountain and of course the mansion itself. We spent a couple of hours walking around and managed to get plenty of photos before it started raining bringing an end to the shoot. It was a pleasure photographing Sarah and Steve in such a beautiful setting and I can't wait till September to photograph their wedding day. I hope you enjoy this small collection of photos from the day.
