I started the day with the girls, everyone was nice and relaxed, I had a lovely time photographing them getting ready. I then met up with the boys at the church in Trearddur bay, as always, Jay was nice and chilled, all ready for the arrival of his bride to be.
After a wonderful ceremony and a few quick photos outside due a heavy rain shower, we all headed over to the Trearddur Bay Hotel for the reception. The sun gods were on my side and after the showers had passed we headed out again for some more photographs.
Sometimes you just get lucky with the weather and this was a day when it all just fell together. Despite a few heavy rain showers throughout the day we managed to get all the outside shots done. As a photographer I have a good idea of what my couples want and always do my best to get it, so despite heavy clouds and the impending rain shower, we took the risk, and after the speeches we headed out for a walk along the beach. I could see the concern on the couples face regarding the aproaching rain storm, but Llio and Jay trusted me to get the shots done, without them getting a massive soaking. Two minutes after getting back it absolutely hammered it down. Dodged a bullet right there, but sometimes you just have to take a risk to get the best shots for your couple.
I left the happy couple dancing the night away with friends and family. Please scroll down to see the day as it unfolds.
