I had already photographed them on a pre-wedding shoot on Anglesey and I was looking forward to photographing their wedding day. Arriving nice and early to the village, the light was gorgeous and the forecast was great for the whole day. I popped in to see the girls who were all excited and having fun getting ready. I snapped away for a while, before heading off to see the boys who were getting ready in Castell Deaudraeth, just up the road.
Then it was time for the ceremony, the excited guests settled down in the lovely Hercules hall to await the arrival of the bride. After the beautiful and emotional ceremony, some laughing, crying and confetti, everyone went down to the hotel. Here we did a few group shots before it was time for the wedding breakfast. There were a few speeches, before Ffion and Alec sped off in the buggy to the Japanese Garden. This lovely area of the village is out of the way and really quiet in the evening, perfect for a little stroll and some photos. We then headed into the main village for a few more shots.
Before we knew it, it was time for the party to start and guests joined the happy couple on the dance floor after they had their first dance. We were treated to an impromptu dance-off from the boys and plenty of other guests joined in the dancing too. Just as it was getting dark everyone was ushered down to the hotel again for a surprise firework display. Here ended my time in the village, it was an absolutely fantastic day. Scroll down to see the story for yourself.
