Glesni and lewis got married, and what a fantastic day it was. A tiny little chapel, fields of grass, a country house, a VW beetle, this wedding has it all. When I went to meet Glesni and Lewis to discuss plans for the wedding we ended up walking for ages through fields looking for the perfect spot to take photos after the ceremony, such a great idea and always nice that people want something different and a bit personal as her family owned most of the fields nearby. So on the day I arrived at the family farm, weather was looking great so the chance to get some shots in a field was likely. Everyone was in a great mood and there was lots of laugher as Glesni and the girls all had hair and makeup done. Champagne was flowing, this was going to be a good day. Lewis was getting ready at Plas Maenan country house a short drive away so I met up with a very nervous groom and boys and captured a few shots of them getting ready before heading to the chapel for the main event. And what a beautiful ceremony it was, lots of laughter and tears. Glesni and lewis left the chapel in a lovely old VW beetle and we headed on up to the farm to go for a walk down the quiet country lanes and get some beautiful photos in the waist high barley, watched on by a herd of very bemused but friendly cows. It was then off to Plas Maenan for the wedding reception. Such a lovely place and plenty of areas to get photos. After everyone had eaten and the speeches were all said and done we headed out for a few more photos before the evening reception was kickstarted with a wonderful first dance. A fantastic day was had by all, all I could see was dancing and laughter as I left. Please have a look at this collection of photos and enjoy the day as it unfolds. I hope you all like this collection of photos from the day. If you liked what I did and would like to vote then please click on the banner below for the Welsh National Wedding Awards.
