It was definitely the hottest day of the year, my vans air conditioning was in overdrive as I headed to the lovely Plas Maenan hotel in the Conwy valley to photograph the wedding of Vicky and Steve. It was definitely going to be a chilled out day, I had already done a pre wedding shoot with them both and you couldn't meet a nicer couple so chilled and in love.
First stop was to see the girls, they had stayed overnight and were getting ready in one of the rooms there.
Everyone was in a fantastic mood if not a bit warm, I grabbed a few shots and then as the boys arrived caught a few of them also.
It was also going to be an emotional day, the tears were flowing right from the start and didn't stop through the ceremony.
It was then outside to relax in the sun and have a beer or 2 before some group shots and the wedding breakfast.
After the really great speeches it was back out into the sun again and as the light started to soften Vicky and Steve went off for a nice walk and to get some more photos. At this time of the evening the light is fantastic and the lovely orange glow added to the photos.
After that it was time to dance and after a lovely first dance it was time to party.
